Kölsch

The Brewer's Pantry Kölsch is a tribute to the classic style from Cologne, Germany, available in both extract and all grain. A very sessionable beer, the Kölsch is pale-straw in colour, crisp, and well balanced. It is top fermented like and ale and then (optimally) cold aged to provide light ale notes and the crispness of a lager. Our Kölsch is a great summer beer!

Note: Our Kölsch is somewhat of an intermediate style in that optimal results are obtained with cold aging capability, although it is not mandatory.

With proper fermentation techniques the Brewer's Kölsch will make 5 gallons of beer at 4.9% abv.
